KW Model Polaroid Photography

When an aspiring model wants to begin applying to modelling agencies, they need something we still call model polaroid photography (even though we no longer use polaroid cameras for it!).  In the days of film, agencies and photographers would use polaroid cameras to snap quick photos of a model either in natural light or with even lighting, wearing minimal makeup and simple form-fitting clothing to showcase what they look like without all the bells and whistles.  Even though we no longer use polaroid cameras for this task, we still call images that serve this purpose “polaroids”.

I received an email Busé, an aspiring model, who needed exactly these images to begin applying to local and international modelling agencies. It was super fun working with her and I think she will go far!

Send me an email and I’d be happy to chat about your polaroid photography needs!
