Shannon Kingsbury and I first met in 2019 when I sought her out for singing lessons to help me overcome a lifelong fear of singing, and thanks to her incredible encouragement and guidance, she did exactly that. It has been so rewarding to watch her continue inspiring others through her music, teaching, and collaborations. I was so excited when Shannon asked me to help her create a fresh collection of branding images for her promotion and upcoming song releases.

We began the session in my Kitchener photography studio before heading to Guelph Lake for a beautiful outdoor evening photoshoot. Shannon even suggested bringing her harp right into the water at sunset, and thanks to her suggestion, we created some of my favourite photos from the session! I would have never dared ask her to bring her instrument into the water – but she was eager to try something new! Her creativity, adventurous spirit, and genuine love for music made this photoshoot extra special. I love how the final photographs reflect both her artistry and personality.
