It was a true pleasure photographing the beautiful and very creative Joanna for this maternity session at the University of Guelph Arboretum! One of my favourite places to shoot! We met on a warm July evening and were treated to gorgeous sunset light, creating the perfect setting to celebrate this exciting chapter in her and her partner’s life. Joanna was so much fun to work with and effortless in front of the camera.

One of my favourite parts of this session was the styled outdoor canopy we incorporated into the photos. It added such a soft, whimsical feel to the images and created a beautiful space for Joanna to relax while we documented these photos. Combined with the natural beauty of the Arboretum, the result was a collection of maternity photographs that feel warm and timeless. I absolutely LOVE how these images turned out!
