Wildlife and birding photography has taught me patience and precision in the best possible way. Much of this work comes from slowing down, observing, spending time in familiar places, and waiting for small moments to unfold. While I love songbirds, birds of prey hold a special place in my heart. I love documenting the quiet beauty, behaviour, and personality of creatures that often go unnoticed when we move too quickly, and don’t take the time to pause, enjoy, and breathe in the little moments.

Much of this work is photographed locally here in Ontario, where I’m constantly inspired and surprised by the diversity of birdlife throughout the seasons. These images are a reminder that incredible subjects are often closer than we think, if we’re willing to look closely enough!
