For over 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working closely with the talented students of the (sadly now closed) Gemini Models – photographing countless aspiring models as they began building their portfolios and confidence in front of the camera. It was always such a rewarding experience, and I looked forward to these photoshoots every year! Classes would run nearly year-round and I would photograph the students two or three times annually as they developed their skills. It was amazing watching so many of them grow, both as models and as individuals.

One of the most fulfilling parts of working with new models is helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether it’s offering posing direction, coaching a variety of expressions, or creating a relaxed and encouraging environment…my goal has always been to help each person leave with photographs they feel proud of, and an experience they enjoyed. Looking back through these images brings back so many wonderful memories and reminds me just how fortunate I was to work with such an amazing community of students over the years.
